Go Big Accessories!

Once upon a time fashion augmented outfits with minimal accessories and small jewelry pieces. Obviously things have changed because now big jewelry is in and when worn right looks great. So women look for big bold necklaces that make a statement.

Of course some people may not be able to afford the top designer  necklaces such as Yves Saint Laurent, Emilio Pucci, Vera Wang, Dsquared, and Michael Kors, to name a few.  However, there are some more affordable places we can go to and get the same look. Here are a few sites and looks:

  1. At first, I thought big necklaces drew too much attention to the neck area. I think, when wearing big necklaces, you have to take into account hair, neck length, the style of the shirt.

    • It depends on how you wear it. If you wear a big necklace then you have to keep your other accessories minimal. Big necklaces are a great way to spice up an outfit with just one piece or accessory!

  2. Personally, I don’t think that large necklaces look good on me because I have a long, thin neck. How do you feel about very large accessories on thinner people?

    • I have a long, thin neck as well. I actually think they look better on thinner people with thinner necks (no offense to larger people) because it actually shows off the piece. Thicker necks tend to swallow up the jewelry and make it appear smaller and tighter. I will wear my large necklace for you on Tuesday and you can tell me what you think. Remember larger necklaces will not sit on your neck but due to their size they will fall to your upper chest or depending on the length you lower chest.
